Kluane Wilderness Lodge is a 100% catch and release fishery.

In the last 23 years not a single fish has been flown out of this lake. We fish only with single barbless hooks on all plugs, spoons, jigs and flies, this makes for the ease release of the fish and reduces the damage that maybe caused to the fish.

If you are using plugs or spoons you will need to remove all treble hooks and place a single hook at the end of the lure. You may also cut two of the three hooks off leaving a single hook. On any hooks the barb will have to be mashed down so no barb is exposed.
